Press Release: Vyasa Selected for SAP.iO Health Sciences Startup Program
BOSTON, October 7, 2021 — Vyasa, an innovative provider of highly scalable deep learning A.I. analytics software for healthcare, life sciences and business applications, has been selected to participate in the SAP.iO Foundry Berlin health sciences startup program. Recently launched by SAP SE, the program will provide support for, and boost the visibility of, participating startups driving the digitalization of healthcare and the life sciences.
As a member of the SAP.iO Foundry Berlin health sciences startup program, Vyasa will receive curated mentorship from SAP executives, exposure to SAP technology and application programming interfaces (APIs), and opportunities to collaborate with businesses using SAP technology around the world. Vyasa is one of eight international startups selected to participate in the 12-week program.
“Incubators are an invaluable resource for any startup, offering extensive industry knowledge and access to a trusted network of partners and customers. For a company like Vyasa solving enterprise-wide data accessibility challenges, this SAP.iO program presents a tremendous opportunity to expand the capabilities of our technology and build upon our industry experience,” said Vyasa CEO & Founder, Dr. Christopher Bouton “I’m excited to see what will unfold for us through this incredible opportunity to leverage the expertise of one of the world’s most influential enterprise software providers.”
Vyasa accelerates the discovery of actionable intelligence by improving the accessibility, integration and visualization of organizational data. Its deep learning data fabric, Layar, unifies data across disparate silos, regardless of where it’s stored or how it’s structured. Powerful deep learning analytics can then be applied to content flexibly connected within Layar allowing customers to extract insights from documents such as PDFs, presentation decks, published research and images that are rich in data, but hard to analyze via traditional methods. Insights can be accessed via highly visual applications such as dynamic knowledge graphs and dashboards that simplify tasks such as clinical trial discovery and design, rare disease research and competitor analysis.
