Operating within a Column

  1. Radar Expand Terms – Clicking this button will allow users to see radar terms based on all cells within a column. To learn what Radar Terms do, click here. 
  2. View Evidence – Clicking this button will allow users to view evidence from sources within Synapse that include all terms in the column. Evidence will be organized by sources that contain the most relevant search first. For more information on what Evidence is click here.
  3. Search Web – Clicking this button will allow users to search the web for all terms located within a column. This will take users outside of the app to a separate web page.
  4. Create Header Row – Clicking this button will duplicate the top row in the column you are working and all top rows will be duplicated across a table
  5. Create Workspace from Column – Clicking this button will create a new Workspace from the column that is highlighted
  6. Summarize Smart Column – Clicking this button will create an overview in a pop up window of the highlighted column. These will be separated by Most Relevant Answers and Most Relevant Documents. The blue finger print button next to each statement will bring the user to evidence around that statement.
  7. Sort Column Ascending – Clicking this button will sort the column from A to Z
  8. Sort Column Descending – Clicking this button will sort the column from Z to A.
  9. Move Column Left- Clicking this button will move column left one column position to the left. Please Note: this can also be done by highlighting the column header and dragging it to the desired position on the table. 
  10. Move Column Right – Clicking this button will move column one column position to the right. Please Note: this can also be done by highlighting the column header and dragging it to the desired position on the table. 
  11. Add Column Before – Clicking this button will add a column before (to the left) of the selected column. For more information on adding column click here.
  12. Add Column After – Clicking this button will add a column after (to the right) of the selected column. For more information on adding a column click here.
  13. Edit Column Question – Clicking this button will allow users to edit the question they asked in Synapse. This will update answer and evidence information within the table.
  14. Delete Column – Clicking this button will delete the column from the table.
